The guest demo

The introduction plays existing English audio files. It does not ask for microphone access or send your voice to an AI service. Hosting still processes ordinary web requests to deliver the page and files.

Your workspace

Sign-in is provided by the hosting platform using your ChatGPT identity. QB receives your site-specific identifier, email and, when supplied, profile name. It does not receive your ChatGPT password or chat history. The application uses the site-specific identity to separate your profile from other accounts. It stores your chosen name, language and display settings, plus notes you save manually or allow QB to save from conversations, in the site’s database.

The notebook is optional. Turning it off does not delete existing notes; the Clear notebook action does. You can edit or delete individual notes, export the data shown in your workspace, and delete your QB profile.

Voice is a separate boundary

Live voice is available to signed-in testers, not anonymous visitors. Tapping the microphone starts live OpenAI audio after browser permission. The project owner pays API costs during testing; QB imposes no daily or session quota. Provider limits and availability still apply. Closing a call stops its microphone; three minutes of silence also ends the connection. The enabled notebook supplies recent notes at call start and can be searched during the call. Conversational memory requires a separate opt-in: QB may save short basic profile, preference and project details you state, not a full transcript. Automatically selected details may be mistaken; review, correct or delete them in Memory. Do not provide secrets or sensitive information for this feature. Manual changes and permission changes require ending an active call first; saving a conversational detail does not interrupt speech. Clearing the notebook also disables automatic saving. Local test and hosted accounts have separate databases. Neither is silently synced to the preserved original owner prototype.

Web search sends a minimal search query to OpenAI and shows source links. QB does not store a full conversation transcript. A temporary server connection checks activity and memory evidence while the call is open. The database keeps a call identifier and safety state, not raw audio. The project’s API key remains on the server and is never sent to the browser.

Weather and music

Weather is requested when you ask, or periodically if you enable Weather updates. Automatic checks run only while QB is open, visible and idle, outside your quiet hours. The selected city and country go from our server to Photon (OpenStreetMap); rounded city coordinates go to MET Norway. We do not forward your account, notebook, exact address or GPS. Public lookup results are temporarily cached. Forecasts are model estimates, not live observations, and are not safety alerts.

Weather preferences, your selected city and a small comparison state are saved to your account so updates are not repeated after a reload. These settings are separate from conversational memory. You can turn automatic weather off at any time; deleting your QB profile removes these settings too. Scheduled displays are silent, do not activate the microphone or camera, and cannot be relied on when the phone is locked.

Music plays existing CC0 Open Lo-Fi files from this site. No music service login or listening profile is created. A requested track can keep playing after the voice call ends; pause or stop it on screen. Signing out or leaving the robot page stops it. Browser permissions, sleep and background restrictions may prevent playback.

Local timer and display

The timer deadline is stored in this browser under your site identity. It is removed when cancelled or dismissed. It is not a reliable background alarm if the browser closes or the device sleeps.

Deletion

Deleting the preview profile removes its settings, notes and test-credit entries. It does not delete your ChatGPT account. If real payment records exist in a later version, account closure will need a separate retention process; this preview deliberately refuses to erase financial records blindly.

Testing, not a finished service

The operator’s identity, contact route, legal basis, retention periods and provider arrangements for a commercial release are still being completed. Please do not use this test version as storage for sensitive information.
